so last night kind of sucked. i was in the ER.... again! i've had a urinary infection for about a week. i was taking herbs and drinking cranberry juice, and lots of water, and cut down on sugar, which helped a little, just enough so i wasnt in an insane amount of pain, but it was still pretty bad. normally all that should cure me, but the infections i get are from a rare bacteria and i guess i must have a low immune system cause they're reoccurring. so yeah, it not cause i have too much sex.
i went to st johns in feb for the same thing, only then i had waited too long ( 2 weeks) and it moved into my kidneys - talk about painful. pain that was always there. so last night i was in so much pain i couldnt barely walk, talk or freakin stop shaking and shivering, i was so cold.. even though it wasn't cold i just had the chills. matt even turned on the heat in his truck on the way to the hospital, like on full blast cause i was shivering so bad, but it didnt help, it just made it hard to breath. we get there and after they ask a million questions, and get all the info they need, the nurse says she has to do a blood test to see my white blood cell count so they can figure out if i have a kidney infection, cause if it's severe they have to like drain your kidneys, which i hear is extremely painful. but as i was saying... the blood test.. oh god. ive never had a needle in my arm before. only shots in my mouth for dentist work, and when i had a tooth pulled which was one of the worst experiences ive had and i almost passed out and threw up. i just had a really bad reaction to it and it hurt like a sob. i am terrified of needles. when the nurse said blood test i though "hmm, maybe just a prick on the finger if im lucky" oh but no, hardcore IV needle in a the biggest vein in my arm. i couldn't watch. it hurt and i almost vomited and afterwards i was shaking insanely... but at least i had matt's hand to hold. the nurse left the IV in for like an hour, while they were processing the blood and urine tests. it's still a little sore today. we were there for about 3 hours. got home and went to sleep around 1:00 a.m.

i feel a little better today. matt cares so much. he's amazing.
